TRANSITION

TRANSITION, SUUVI’s debut EP, features a collection of five arrangements of iconic pieces from the classical repertoire in an updated soundscape that blends the warmth and elegance of acoustic cello with synths and electronic sound design. 

SUUVI began experimenting with electronic music during her time as artist-in-residence at The San Francisco Conservatory’s Technology and Applied Composition Department in 2021-2022, where TRANSITION was created and recorded in collaboration with pianist and composer Pedro Osuna. 

TRANSITION pays homage to the timeless tradition of classical music and the training through which her musicianship developed.
