THEATRE OF THE ABSURD
Theatre of the Absurd was a bespoke, immersive evening conceived for Realm Cellars, transforming the winery into a cinematic performance environment for a group of guests in their private tasting room.
The evening opened with an intimate live performance inside the winery, where I presented a curated program of classical repertoire reimagined through acoustic cello and electronic soundscapes. Grounded in the discipline and refinement of high art, the performance translated classical tradition into a modern musical language, establishing a contemplative, elevated atmosphere before guests gathered for a seated dinner by three-Michelin-starred chef Christopher Kostow.
Following the dinner, the experience transitioned outdoors to a helicopter pad overlooking Napa Valley. Set against the surrounding vineyards and night sky, I closed the evening with a signature electronic cello performance, merging live cello virtuosity with electronic beats and textures to create a dynamic, sophisticated finale.
Designed as a fully integrated cultural moment, Theatre of the Absurd blurred the boundaries between concert, immersive experience, and social ritual, demonstrating how live music can function not only as performance, but as a narrative thread within luxury hospitality and brand experiences that seamlessly bridge tradition and innovation.
